Quality control of methylparaben includes testing of multiple indicators. HPLC is used to determine the content, requiring a methylparaben content of no less than 99.0%. Impurities are controlled through the detection of related substances. Melting point determination is an important identification method; the melting point should be within the range of 131-135℃. In addition, indicators such as loss on drying and residue on ignition are also tested to ensure stable product quality.
